Cell phone NFC and Bluetooth have been widely used now, the principle of both are radio transmission technology, but they have a fundamental difference.

     Bluetooth

It is a wireless communication standard with close range and low power consumption, which supports short-range communication of devices (about 10m). It is able to exchange wireless information between cell phones, laptops, wireless headsets, PDAs and other related peripherals.

Bluetooth uses decentralized network structure as well as fast frequency hopping and short packet technology to support one-to-one or one-to-many communication, and works in 2.4GHz band with a rate of 1Mbps in general.

The advantages of Bluetooth: wide compatibility, openness, portability, less harm to human body, etc.

     NFC

Near Field Communica TI on , also known as Near Field Communication, is a short-range high frequency wireless communication technology that allows contactless point-to-point transmission and exchange of data between devices over short distances (within 10cm). Originally evolved from contact-free radio frequency identification (RFID) and is backward compatible with RFID.

The NFC initiating device provides a radio frequency field (RF-field) throughout the communication process. It can select different transmission speeds and send data to another device. The other device, called the NFC target device, does not have to generate the RF-field, but uses load modula TI on technology, which means that the data can be transmitted back to the initiating device at the same speed.

At present, the most practical use of NFC for card simulation, equivalent to the use of RFID technology IC card, can replace all the cards including bus cards, access cards, bank cards and other cards with IC chips.
